GALLERY OF STILL LIFE
The Still Life Gallery holds many surprises for the viewer. What I’ve done is look at the common and questioned its validity in our world.
Where else could you find an American Flag placed in an open window asking for a people to follow it to the ends of the Earth?
Hanging Boots was originally a black and white photo. I went back to the color and did some extreme adjustments so that I could bring out the texture of the boots.
Walking through an old barn on Antelope Island in Utah led me to the discovery of The Prince (in the can).
The Watering Can is a good example of what was and could have been. It has probably seen better days.
Time is my homage to the old style alarm clocks that we all had growing up.
Glove Friends just seem to be the perfect name for these gloves just hanging out on a fence.
Mailbox in Suburbs shows what can happen when we leave a dwelling unattended for years.
Old Truck and Oil Can are from a series of photographs taken in the early 1970’s. They were photographed in an old field behind Hawaii Kai (planned community) on the Island of Oahu.
All photographs are 11x17 and include an 18x24 matte, ready for framing.
